well anime will always be stupid in my opinion :D
I love anime, but that doesn’t mean everyone has too, u know?
Its like calling your obsession or favorite hobby stupid. Or it’d be just like me saying your girlfreind is stupid or something like that.
Anime is an art really, there may be some childish ones, but they are mostly mature animation that shows real characters with issues that try to make the best out of them.
To say that anime in general is stupid, is just being ignorant; i’ve seen many people who were inspired by watching them or who learned valuable lessons in life. More, the plots presented in most of the anime series and movies are much better than 95% of the U.S. series and movies. Also, anime keeps lots of children out of trouble, gangs and drugs.
The feeling I get when I watch a great anime is the same feeling when I read a very good book, and books aren’t stupid, are they?
Once again, it’s really a matter of respect for a person’s hobby.
