Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities (FB Terms):
“You will not provide any false personal information on Facebook, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission. You will not use your personal profile for your own commercial gain (such as selling your status update to an advertiser).”

… more: “Pages are special profiles that may only be used to promote a business or other commercial, political, or charitable organization or endeavor (including non-profit organizations, political campaigns, bands, and celebrities).”

… and more: “We can remove any content or information you post on Facebook if we believe that it violates this Statement.”

I am sure all Facebook rules and regulations apply to everyone who creates an account, regardless of nationality.
As advertisers, marketers and media agencies we should be the first ones to read the legal stuff and share these findings with our colleagues.

Breaking news, what can I say :) I also didn’t know about these rules, as media agency no one informed us about them so I guess it’s all about localization; maybe it’s yet to come in .Ro
